Listserv emails have included announcements on training workshops, conferences, and symposiums, permitting changes and requirements, meetings, and equipment for sale; discussions have included pros and cons about equipment, bat and researcher health news, news articles, and media links; research news; and submission requests for California news to add to the Western Bat Working Group newsletter.
The California Bat Working Group Listserv is open to everyone that would like to send and receive information and news regarding bats, and for disseminating news and events for the CBWG.
To receive list mail at the address from which you're sending your mail, simply send a message to: joe@humboldt.edu and write in the subject of the message: subscribe CBWGList
If for some reason you wish to have the mailings go to a different address then tell Joe that address in the body of the message.
Once subscribed, you should next get a welcome message, containing list policies and features.
To unsubscribe from the mailing list, simply send a message to: joe (at the domain) humboldt.edu and write in the subject of the message write: unsubscribe CBWGList.
To send a message to EVERYONE on the list: CBWGlist (at the domain) humboldt.edu
